Day 7 Test day on Tuesday.
Gosh I hate tests. I don't know why. I always do my best and get good scores but I have a fear of failing. I always double check my answers when I can. Timed tests are the worst. I freak out and feel like I am about to faint. Luckily today the test wasn't timed so I could read the questions a hundred times over again to make sure I understood them. I have learned that I stink at looking stuff up in books so all the more reason to know my stuff. Today's test had 43 questions and I missed only 3 of them. That still leaves me with an A in class. When I get nervous my leg will bounce uncontrollably until I get tired. Oh well I must just take a deep breath and know that it is over and I did well. those that I missed mean barley anything and that I can't change them now. All I can do is look forward, study hard and hope that I will ace my next test.
Today for what to write about in computer class I need to write about AI. I read this ( http://theweek.com/articles/443029/rise-machines ) which explains the possibilities and and downfalls of AI. I think we should look to fantasy books for the answers. I know that is a weird idea but the truth is there are well thought out stories of AIs and how they could ether be beneficial or chaotic. The well known game Halo for instance shows that AIs can be very helpful (in this case military) with communication between ships and to make sure everything running the way it should as well as scheduling things for us. They could also have backups keeping them from turning against humans where they are constantly thinking that as a virus. On the other hand AIs could become something like 2001 Space Odyssey where they decide that humans were not needed. I personally think that we will be able to keep AIs in check. We wouldn't let it on the internet until every little problem was solved with them. Besides an AI can only progress as much as its hardware and software would allow. This helps us still be useful to them.
In conclusion I personally don't think AIs will take over the world.
